Who we are
VEKTARO (vektaro.in.ua) is a non-commercial flight simulation portal. Responsible person: [Full Name], [email].

In short
VEKTARO has no registration, ads or analytics. We don’t sell your data or share it for marketing.

What data is processed

  • Server logs. The host automatically records your IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser details. These logs are needed to run and secure the site and are kept for a limited time.
  • Airport search. What you type in the search is processed only on our server to show results. We don’t link it to you.
  • Emails. If you contact us, we use your address and message only to reply.

Cookies and local storage

  • pll_language: remembers the site language you chose.
  • Your browser stores whether the sidebar is open or closed in local storage. This isn’t personal data and isn’t sent to us.
  • Site administrators get WordPress login cookies when they sign in to the dashboard.
    We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Third-party services

  • Hosting: uahosting.com.ua. The servers are in Germany (EU).
  • Google Fonts: fonts load from Google’s servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google. Google’s policy
  • Weather: METAR/TAF data comes from NOAA (aviationweather.gov) and model weather from Open-Meteo. Our server makes these requests, so none of your data goes to these services.
  • External links (OpenStreetMap, Telegram, developer sites) lead to other sites with their own privacy rules.

Telegram channel
Our channel runs on Telegram, so Telegram’s privacy policy applies there.

Backups
We back up the site regularly to prevent data loss. Backups are stored securely and deleted automatically over time.

Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, correct it or ask for it to be deleted. Email [email] to do this. You can also contact the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, or your national data protection authority if you’re in the EU.

Changes
If we add new features, such as accounts, comments or analytics, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
