Terms of use

By using VEKTARO (vektaro.in.ua) you agree to these terms. They are short.

1. For flight simulation only

Everything on the site — weather, charts, fuel and runway calculations, the briefing, NOTAMs, taxi routes — is meant for computer flight simulators. The data may be inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. It must not be used for real flying, navigation or any decision that safety depends on.

2. No warranty

The site is provided "as is". We try to keep it working and correct, but we do not promise that and are not liable for losses from using the site or from it being unavailable, as far as the law allows.

3. Names and trademarks of others

VEKTARO is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft, Asobo, Laminar Research, Eagle Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, VATSIM, IVAO, Navigraph or SimBrief, nor by the airlines, airports and add-on developers mentioned here. Their names and marks belong to their owners and are used only to name the product or service.

4. Data sources and licences

• NOAA Aviation Weather Center: METAR, TAF, SIGMET (public domain);
• Open-Meteo: model weather and time zones (CC BY 4.0);
• OurAirports: airports, runways, frequencies, navaids (public domain);
• © OpenStreetMap contributors: maps and taxiways (ODbL);
• VATSIM and IVAO: live network data and VATSIM events;
• VATSpy Data Project: flight information region borders (CC BY-SA 4.0);
• OpenFlights: airline routes of 2014 (Open Database License);
• FlightGear: waypoints and airways for the route line on the map, 2013 cycle (GPL);
• SimBrief / Navigraph: your own flight plan, which you ask us to show;
• RainViewer: the rain layer on the map;
• software and fonts: Leaflet (BSD), Inter and JetBrains Mono (SIL Open Font License).

The news and guide texts, the design and the code of the site belong to VEKTARO. You may quote them with a link to the page.

5. Links and add-ons

The add-on catalogue and the airport pages contain only links to developer sites and shops. We host no third-party files and are not responsible for the content, prices or safety of other sites. If a link leads to a pirated copy or something harmful, tell us and we will remove it.

6. What you send us

By sending a screenshot, a description or a link through the "Share" form you confirm that you have the right to do so and allow VEKTARO to show it on the site and in our channels, free of charge, with your credit. You remain the author. We decide what to publish and may remove what was published. Do not send other people's work, other people's personal data, advertising or anything unlawful.

7. Content and copyright complaints

If you believe a page, an image or a link infringes your rights, write to us: contact@vektaro.in.ua. Give the page address, what exactly is infringed and how to reach you. We will look at it as soon as we can and remove the material if the complaint is justified.

8. Fair use of the site

Do not try to break the site, do not load it with automated requests and do not harvest data from it in bulk. Take network and weather data from their original sources.
