Fenix quietly updates its status page: most of the team is back on the A320neo
Fenix Simulations has quietly refreshed the status page for its Microsoft Flight Simulator products, with no announcement. The new entries are dated 11 October and cover both the current A320 family (which Fenix calls the A32X) and the long-awaited A320neo.
For context, in November 2025 Fenix pushed the A320neo back and said it was first rebuilding its VNAV (vertical flight path calculation) and ECAM (the warning and system status display). The studio said it wanted to look after existing A320 owners before asking for money for new aircraft.
What Fenix says:
- testing of the next major update for the A320 Base Pack and the A319/A321 expansion is going well;
- according to the developers, it will bring significant improvements and fixes across the whole family;
- development of the A320neo is progressing;
- most of the team has moved from the A320 update back to the NEO.
Fenix gives no release dates, prices or upgrade terms.
What it means: if most of the team is back on the NEO, the update for the current A320 is most likely close to done. A320 owners should keep an eye on the Fenix launcher, while the NEO looks like it still needs some time.
